I come to Gavin with not much confidence and struggling with my dyslexia not believing in myself. But Gavin was always patient and gave me great Advice I wouldn’t have done it without him a week before my test I wanted to give it all up but Gavin believed in me never gave up, gave me the confidence to go for it and I passed couldn’t of wished for anyone better. Starting the two week intensive course there was a lot of nerves and uncertainty however Paul had great teaching techniques and within the first week I felt more relaxed than I thought I would and when the second week started I was excited to get in the drivers seat. Fast forward to the test day and I felt ready to start and completed the test with 1 minor fault and came away with a pass all thanks to Paul and remembering the importance of staying calm.

A massive thank you to Jean for instructing my son Luca in passing his practical driving test. We waited a long time to get an appointment, due to Covid, and Jean went over and beyond in scanning for cancellations and alternatives. Luca would not be considered your easiest student as he does struggle with anxiety and lack of focus, Jean was able to keep him calm and focused with an amazing outcome, 1 month after starting lessons with her. Her encouragement and positive approach made Luca, as well as myself, feel so comfortable with the process. Jean will always be a part of this milestone and celebration in Luca’s life.

A massive thank you to Pete for guiding me through my test with 2 minors. Had a few areas where I wasn’t confident in and he was brilliant. And a fantastic bloke to top it off.

My experience with Pete was amazing.. Passing first time is defiantly a testament to him. I was very nervous getting back behind the wheel and the thought of 4hr lessons were terrifying. However pete was very calming and easy to talk to, he walked me through every step and every mistake allowing me to grow and improve as a driver. Well that can I say other than a HUGE Thankyou to Gavin for teaching me! My journey to passing my test has spanned 2 decades (with a 16 year gap in between) and with 24 hours with Gavin it’s finally done!
He has been patient, encouraging and ever so slightly bossy ???? but we’ve had a great laugh and he didn’t give up or lose faith in me, even when I drove like a total newbie for the 2 hours before my test!!
Gavla you are absolutely one in a million and I cannot thank you enough. At 39 I am going to have a whole new world opening up to me and as much as I hate to admit it but your reverse psychology may have worked!! Thankyou for everything. Dannii xx

Pete is a brilliant instructor who I would recommend to anyone looking to learn to drive. He made the lessons fun and we had a laugh whilst I learned. He is brilliant at making you feel comfortable in the car and is genuinely a really lovely guy.
